This is one of my favorite trails in Central Florida. It’s about 35 minutes NW of Orlando located in the quaint city of Mount Dora. The trails are maintained by OMBA (Ocala Mountain Bike Association) which also maintains the Santos Trail system in Ocala, FL. It has a main yellow loop with good flow and blue options throughout. This is an intermediate trail due to it’s speed and some tight spaces. It is very shaded and there are some amazing trees throughout. The Red section (Helter Skelter) is steep with some fast switchbacks and sudden drops. There is a Skillzville section (skinnys, rock garden, etc.) at the trailhead. They have also added a bike station for minor repairs and to clean your bike before heading home.
